Before COVID-19, CodeToHope had plans to visit and donate backpacks to communities in Ghana. Unfortunately, unlike previous years and due to the current circumstances this could not accomplished.

CodeToHope continued communication with its beneficiaries and discovered that the community faced a greater need — face masks for the students.

CodeToHope donated 500 locally made nose/face masks for the Share Foundation in Tema, Ghana. The Share Foundation is a “non-governmental organization which has been operating in the Tema municipality and its environs” committed to providing scholarships, promoting literacy, and youth empowerment.

“On behalf of all the members and beneficiaries of the Share Foundation, I say huge thank you to all the team members of CodeToHope for your kind donation of five hundred nosemasks to us. We are most grateful and appreciative of your kindness and compassion for us. We pray for blessings to you all. We hope to keep safe and healthy by using the nosemasks. We are very thankful to you all. God bless you all.”
