Solar Power
Most people take for granted having stable electricity, but imagine if your power went out more than 50% of the time. Think about what that is like in places where electricity is even less reliable than that. Your donation will help us bring reliable power in the form of solar panels to Ganvie and So-Ava, Benin.
Ganvie and So-Ava are two remote villages in Benin, Africa. We will be donating computers to the 300 students in the schools there. However, these villages currently have very limited access to electricity. Without reliable electricity, these students cannot power-up their computers. Without electricity, they cannot read or study in the evening. When members of the community have power, they invite these students into their homes so that they have lights with which to study.
